Good for Goodwood Revival and re-enactment events, this vintage naval uniform comprises a fabulous double breasted wool blazer with anchor embossed gold metallic buttons and iridescent gold braid around the cuffs, and matching trousers.
The jacket, which fastens with four pairs of gold anchor buttons, is fully lined with peaked lapels (both with buttonholes), two front slit pockets, a single handkerchief pocket and single inner breast pocket. The trousers have sharply pressed front creases, button fly, two side pockets and buttons for braces.
Would benefit from a good airing to eliminate slight mustiness from long term storage, but it is in otherwise very good condition.
