Description

Vintage 1950s Old Foley (James Kent, Staffordshire) boxed set comprising a china cake platter and cake slice in yellow rose design. The plate measures approx 10½“ across and the cake slice is 9” long. Both items are in excellent vintage condition with no chips and the box is intact (though showing its age!)

Sizing

Customers are asked to bear in mind that vintage garment sizes bear little or no resemblance to contemporary sizes. Furthermore, current high street size labels are inconsistent, with M&S and Wallis being noted for their generous proportions while others come up on the small side.

Please always refer to the measurements provided in the item description rather than the garment label size, and note that any ‘best fit’ suggestion we make will be based on modern day sizing. By way of example, our own suggested standard size 12 dress has an underarm to underarm measurement of approximately 19" with a waist size of 30".
